Lisa is a Senior Investment Advisor and a key member of the Institutional Advisory Practice at The Colony Group, with more than 20 years of investment experience.  She works closely with her non-profit clients, providing consulting and investment advisory services and ensuring their adherence to the fiduciary process in support of the organization’s mission. Lisa supports the community enrichment missions of our institutional clients and is an advocate for women serving on the boards and in leadership positions. Lisa is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and also serves on The Colony Group’s Investment Committee, tasked with conducting manager searches, due diligence, and assisting in the development of asset allocation strategies.

Previously, Lisa served as a Senior Analyst for the institutional practice of CapGroup Advisors, which merged with The Colony Group in 2015. She joined CapGroup in 2000 as financial planning analyst and directed investment research and analytical support services for the firm’s Private Client Practice. Past experience also includes working as a part of SunTrust Bank’s investment management group and supporting institutional business development.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Science in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. When not in the office, Lisa enjoys water sports, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
