Sheryl is a Wealth Advisor at The Colony Group, providing wealth management advice to clients, and conducting investment research.  She also helps to lead Colony’s Her Wealth® initiative and its efforts to provide exceptional support and advice to female clients, especially those dealing with change.  She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Sheryl worked as a Wealth Advisor for Blue Water Advisors which merged with The Colony Group in early 2018.  Previously, she was a founding partner and Managing Director of Navigare Partners, a boutique investment management firm focused on investing in high yield and leveraged loans.  While there she had several roles, including chief financial officer and investment analyst. Prior to that she was a Senior Vice President and High Yield Portfolio Manager at Alliance Capital.  Sheryl joined Alliance from Equitable Capital, an investment subsidiary of Equitable Life, where she was a Managing Director and private debt specialist responsible for analyzing, negotiating, documenting and monitoring privately placed fixed income investments, including mezzanine financing for leveraged buyout transactions

Sheryl earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Sheryl is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Financial Planning Association of Long Island and the Penn Club of Long Island.

In her spare time, Sheryl enjoys indoor rowing, playing card games, reading novels, going to the theater, and spending time with family and friends.
