As the Director of the Institutional Advisory Practice at The Colony Group, Sriram is responsible for operations and financial reporting for Colony’s institutional clients. His focus areas include, but are not limited to client onboarding, performance reporting, and day-to-day operations. Sriram liaises with internal teams and third-party contacts such as fund administrators, custodians and auditors, to ensure timely and accurate reporting. He also focuses on internal process improvements, as well as implementation of new workflows to help ensure high quality service to investment teams and stakeholders.

Sriram served as a Controller at New Providence Asset Management prior to their merger with The Colony Group in 2021. Previously, he served as the Senior Accountant at Allen & Company responsible for all operational and financial reporting within Allen & Company’s wealth management group, where he implemented new systems and workflows. He started his career in 2006 as a Staff Auditor with Sobel & Company.

Sriram earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Rutgers University, where he played division three tennis for two years. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New Jersey.

Sriram enjoys spending time with his family, baking, and playing tennis. Having been born in India, he’s also an avid cricket fan and his goal is to attend a live match in each continent. He also speaks Tamil and Hindi.
