Robert leads a team of investment professionals at The Colony Group to support the investment needs of our clients. In his role, he oversees the investment offerings and applies industry best practices to enhance portfolio implementation policies and procedures, as well as optimizes the firm’s processes for scalable growth on an ongoing basis.

Robert brings over two decades of investment industry experience, and a disciplined technical background leveraging expert systems to enhance business capabilities and inform decisions.

Before joining The Colony Group, he was a senior member of a quantitative research team at a BNY Mellon boutique, where he brought his extensive experience and insights into the investment process. During his tenure as director, he also served as portfolio manager for an alternative fund-of-funds, wealth management model strategies, and several disciplined global thematic active-beta mutual funds managing nearly $2 billion in total assets.

Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts from Canisius College and an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Outside of the office, he is active in his community and volunteers actively in youth development programs. He enjoys participating in various family activities such as skiing, fishing, and traveling with his wife and kids.
