Michael specializes in serving business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, and their families. As a former practicing attorney and the son of a dental practice owner, he understands firsthand the many challenges and obstacles that these individuals face in converting their business and/or professional success into achieving their long-term personal financial and life success as well.

His professional mission is simple: for his clients live their best life everyday by helping them identify the few things that are most important to them, make financial and life decisions in alignment with those priorities, and use their wealth to support these priorities. Michael partners with his clients to co-create the financial-life plan to live this best life through frequent conversations, thoughtful questions, active listening, and a relentless focus on implementing the actions to achieve the plan. While simple in concept, Michael has seen firsthand, through his own experience and that of his clients, the difficulty for financially successful individuals to actually live their desired best life given the many competing demands of their busy, complex lives making finding the time to prioritize, organize, and implement the necessary actions.

Through Colony Family Office, Michael and his team deliver a vast scope of advice and services to support his clients in the pursuit of their unique best life through their business, personal financial, and life goals. This advice and services include investment management, tax planning, multi-generational wealth transfer, gifting, and legacy planning, asset protection, and charitable and philanthropic planning.

Before transitioning into wealth management, Michael was a practicing attorney. Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in history and ancient classics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Outside of the office, Michael’s personal passions include enjoying life with his wife and two young sons, physical training, coaching youth lacrosse, hockey, and baseball, and exploring history through books and travel.
