Billy Blase is a Senior Wealth Advisor at The Colony Group. He brings nearly 7 years of experience as a financial advisor. Billy focuses on providing holistic advice with no investment banking, no proprietary trading, no in‑house products, and fair fees to help clients execute on their unique personal goals.
Billy has a background as a professional ice hockey goaltender. He has a passion for working with clients as if they are fellow teammates, helping them identify, map out, and be alongside them throughout the journey – aiding them in course-correcting when need be.
Before joining the Colony Group, Citibank recognized him for achieving rapid growth by utilizing his innovative approach to delivering strong client service, putting their needs first, and exploiting his wealth planning expertise every day in the service of others. His distinct approach to wealth management has solidified throughout the financial services sector as a visionary and creative leader.
Billy graduated from Yale University in 2010, received his MA from SciencesPo Paris, and his Executive MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 2021.
In his spare time, He serves as the Emergency Backup Goaltender for the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL and plays in a weekly celebrity hockey league. He is a native of Santa Monica, CA.
