Tamara leads Colony’s Royalties Department and is responsible for all areas of royalty administration, including record label administration, licensing, royalty statement analysis, as well as the supervision of staff. She reads and interprets complex royalty agreements, oversees daily operations and workflows, prepares reports for client meetings, and is a liaison with account managers and business management partners as well as external companies and clients.

Tamara’s expertise is in royalties and participations. She has spent many years working within the entertainment industry both at a major record label and an international media enterprise and has a deep understanding of how royalties should be administered.

Prior to merging with The Colony Group in 2019, Tamara was the Royalties Director at Glass Malek LLP, a business management firm. Previously, she held multiple managerial positions with Warner Bros. Records & Warner Music Group, and The Walt Disney Company.

Tamara earned her MBA in Finance and International Business and from Washington State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Woodbury University.

Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, photography, volunteer work and spending time with her family. Fun fact, she is a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys watching her daughter and her friends learn and grow into confident young ladies and tomorrow’s leaders.
