Answan’s positive and encouraging attitude is evident in all aspects of his life whether serving clients, assisting their advisors or giving back to his community. He works directly with clients attending to their day-to-day financial needs, and works tirelessly behind the scenes to help our clients reach their goals. A consummate team player, Answan applies his broad operations and data management experience to support the advisors so that they have more time to spend with clients.

Answan served as a Client Service Manager with Bridgewater Wealth & Financial Management prior to merging with The Colony Group in early 2018. Previously, he was a Senior Lead Analyst with a Washington area financial services firm that provided sophisticated investment analysis and portfolio development for approximately 100 of the nation’s leading wealth management firms. He considers his greatest professional achievement to have lead a young team of analysts and fostered their professional growth.

Answan earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kennesaw State University, Georgia. He is a native of Montgomery County, Maryland and volunteers for Junior Achievement of Greater Washington’s “Economics for Success,” a hands-on program that teaches financial responsibility to area middle-school children. Outside of work and volunteering, he is married and the very proud father of three adorable little girls.
